​Although many of the world’s event hubs are still in quarantine, some are starting to show hints of what to expect afterwards. On Thursday, April 23rd, Empire Entertainment Japan CEO Ted Miller participated in a Global Roundtable Webinar, “Learning from Pandemic Recovery Across Asia” hosted by Zkipster.

Including some of the event industry leaders of Hong Kong, Singapore and China, insights on the event industry after lockdown, and how they are approaching virtual events in the interim were discussed.

Highlights from Ted Miller included, Japan’s current situation, the cancellation of TOKYO 2020, Empire Entertainment Japan’s approach to virtual and hybrid events including its new initiative Empire Arts Virtual Gallery, and the practices, steps & challenges for the next 3 to 9 months.
