Longchamp Japan "LIVE GREEN!"
To unveil its 2025 Summer Collection, French maison Longchamp hosted an elegant garden-inspired soirée titled “LIVE GREEN!” at The Jade Room + Garden Terrace, perched atop The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon.
Drawing inspiration from the idyllic lifestyle of the “modern Parisienne” escaping the city for a countryside garden retreat, the event transformed the venue into a verdant oasis. Against a backdrop of lush greenery, guests dressed in Longchamp’s latest seasonal looks explored a world where nature and sophistication coexist effortlessly.
Center stage was Longchamp’s new “LeRoseau” bag – a refined yet relaxed statement piece that perfectly captures thespirit of the collection. Attendees, including fashion insiders and brand ambassadors, mingled in a setting that felt more Provence than Tokyo, bathed in golden-hour light and surrounded by soft florals and curated garden elements.
As the sun set behind Tokyo Tower, guests were treated to a vibrant seasonal dinner created byThe Jade Room’s Chef de Cuisine Richard McLellan. Centered around fresh, locally sourced vegetables, the menu was a celebration of sustainable luxury and refined simplicity – hallmarks of both the Longchamp brand and the modernParisienne ethos.

From initial concept to final execution, Empire worked closely with the brand team to deliver a seamless guest experience that embodied the maison’s refined aesthetic and modern French sensibility.
From the immersive setting to the exquisite dining experience, “LIVE GREEN!” offered a moment of escape and inspiration – a breath of French country air in the heart of Tokyo.

Guests received their first taste of technological innovation at registration, where they were welcomed by name on a reactive LED screen installation covering the full width of the entry wall. A large lunch café was created with a décor scheme that incorporated custom-built, ceiling-high steel LED frames draped with foliage to create smaller, intimate restaurant-style spaces that displayed both technology and nature.
A series of breakout sessions presented content targeted to attendees’ varied interests, while imagery displayed throughout the venue showcased real-life applications of how products designed to empower developers help to unleash the power of data and reimagine possibilities that will improve our world.
Every element of Microsoft Connect(); from registration, breakfast and keynote, to lunch and evening cocktails, were custom-designed to communicate exacting brand messaging and to deliver a high-touch guest experience to this important audience. The keynote and breakout sessions were livestreamed through an onsite studio built for this purpose and content was watched online by millions around the world.
